Build A Bar

I recently found out that my so called “nutrition” bar has more sugar in it than a Snickers. I read all these great recipes about making your own and they seem so easy but sometimes I just don’t have enough hours in a day to bake up my own so I know exactly what is going into them. Until…. I found these Element Bars, which essentially covers all bases. They are “homemade” by someone else, but you pick the ingredients. On top of it- you see how each ingredient you add adds-ups the nutritional and calorie contents. So you get a bar that is your preference calorie/sugar/carb-wise without any of the fake ingredient nonsense that comes along with store bought bars. Some of the add ins include- protein, fiber, antioxidants, spices, fruits, nuts, and healthy sweets. I don’t know about you- but I’m in… and heading over to Element now to make my own chewy peanut buttery flax seedy goodness.
